Welcome to the first Metrocop Awards!

The Metrocop Awards are a means of recognizing the best the Metrocop comics community had to offer since the relaunch (i.e. August-December 2022 and all of 2023).

(Please note that comics that were originally released before that period, even if posted on the Metrocop forums in 2023, are not eligible for the Awards)

The Metrocop Awards are conducted through a public vote right here on the forums, which means you get to choose the winners!

Voting will be conducted in two rounds:

  • A vote for nominations to the 2023 Metrocop Awards;
  • A final vote to select the winners of the 2023 Metrocop Awards.

After voting, the winners will be announced live on the Metrocop Garry’s Mod dedicated server (date to be announced).

This topic will serve to elect the five nominees for each category.

How voting works

In the posts below this one, you will find polls to vote on your nominees for each category of Metrocop Awards.

You can vote on up to 5 options for each poll.

Due to the polls being limited to a maximum of 100 options, the categories of Best Comic, Best Posing, Best Editing and Best Writing have more than one poll each. Both polls for each category will be on the same post. You can vote on 5 options for each of those polls, or limit your votes to up to 5 total if you prefer.

Deadline

Voting for nominees begins on January 1, 2024 and ends on January 13, 2024.
