Back in the prior version of Metrocop there was a Halloween competition where the winner would win some form of horror game on the ol’ Steam. As someone who loves free things, I decided to enter. I didn’t win, and was given a copy of that Slender: The Arrival game as a consolation/punishment.

Given the BDU was too dead to revive and FP’s posting location for comics could be described as a shoulder shrug the comic never had a wider release outside of Metrocop and DeviantArt.

Now, this isn’t just some repost of the old comic. It has been cut down here and there to make it easier to read. I don’t have the source images (as far as I know) so I can’t edit it to more modern standards. And I have redone the second panel of the comic so it wasn’t just a black square.

The whole thing was a play on 1980s slasher movies. With Mainiac Cop being the big inspiration for it.

Around the time I made this I found a Youtube channel (now defunct) that was full of old 70s-80s trailers, so I had a lot of material to work off. The big inspiration was the trailer to Maniac Cop 2.

Sorry it took me a while to get around to commenting on this one!

It’s a bit weird for me seeing G-Man’s model used as anyone but G-Man but… it does really remind me of the old movie ads that would keep saying the title over and over. XD
