How can I add them to the sniper? Moving them over doesn't really work, since I need to pose.

And if I can't add them, would making a new sniper model with these cosmetics work?

I saw something somewhere about selecting the same bones. Basically you attach them by bonemerging, I've done that in GMod. It's also how you can "headhack" very simply in SFM.
This might help.

Thanks for the tutorial. I'll give it a shot and see how things work out.

Canadian, Eh

In the animation set editor drag the sniper onto the cosmetic item. It will show a lock icon beside the cosmetic item. Click on the cosmetic item and use the Zero slider under procedural. Badda bing, badda boom.
