All FakeFactory Cinematic Mod Versions Available by Torrent; That's a lot of lens flares.

For those of you who have tried to download older, pre-2013 editions of FakeFactory's Cinematic Mod for Half-Life 2, you have probably noticed that the original download links on the main site are long dead. Fortunately, a fellow named PiliShic has uploaded a torrent file that contains every single edition of the mod, including all GCF files required to run the older versions. I've downloaded the entire file, and I can confirm that the contents are safe and legitimate.

Thread: [Mods] Half-Life 2: FakeFactory's Cinematic Mod 01 - 2013 (2005-2015) [ENG]
Direct link to the torrent: [rutracker.org].t4632347(1).torrent

If you are unfamiliar with downloading torrents:
1) You will need to download utorrent or some other free utility for downloading torrent files. Torrenting presents a security risk to your computer, so only download legitimate torrents using legitimate software!
2) Torrenting requires that other users be online to connect and share bandwidth during the download process. Because of this, older torrents tend to be unworkable due to the lack of connected peers. It is possible that this torrent will cease to work in time, so grab it while it's hot!
3) When torrenting the file, you can select which versions of the mod you would like to download. If you download them all, the total file space required will be roughly 263 GB. The largest single component is CM2013, which accounts for about 90 GB of the total filesize.

Enjoy!

And that's just the 7zip archives!

I just realized, this thread should probably be under the Maps & Mods section. Perhaps the powers that be could move it?

Any chance one of you fine gentlemen can grab it all and then just send some of the stuff within when others, like, say, I, need it?

Ooooh, or wait, does anyone have a Dropbox with 263 spare gigs?

While it would be nice to have an archive that all of us can access, uploading 263 gigs to Dropbox isn't really feasible without a Plus account. However, I have the entire file backed up to my old machine as well as an external hard drive, so you needn't worry of it going anywhere. Depending on which files you want, I may be able to extract them from the archive and send them to you over Dropbox. If that won't work, I can also seed the file for you.

I was actually thinking of ESToomere because I remembered he had this insane Dropbox space accumulated over the years, but I wasn't about to "volunteer" him without his consent.

Alternatively, we could look up how Jackathan of Facepunch hosted that whole, not-entirely-legal archive of Valve leak stuff. I'm fairly sure he used an existing system, that could be an option - even better, it might also provide a new answer on how to save and archive Garry's Mod comics.
