Hello again Metrocop Community! I'm sorry, I've been relatively silent on the forums recently... A lot of life stuff has been happening at the moment. As well as Mass Effect Andromeda shipping earlier last week, Seriousley. One of you guys need to get over here and unglue me from my shitty failing Asus Monitor because I am addicted to that game right now!
Anyways, I wanted to start a topic that I will update regularly with a project I'm working on. I recently purchased an iMac G4 and I'm planning on gutting the internals and installing a modern PC inside of the chassis. Using the original LCD Display and keeping the build as authentic as possible.
Below is a photo of an original iMac G4

DAY 1. WIRING THE INVERTER
The first step was to gut the Machine and sort all the internals into manageable piles:

The next step was to wire up an old PSU To the monitors Inverter... Easier said than done.

And Tada! We have life! The LCD is powered! Next up is the Video cables... I shudder just thinking about it.

Anyways... That's all for now. I plan on updating this post as the project continues... Let me know what you think :)
